Your apartment is ready for phone service with Cox Communications (or any
other provider you chose). Village Park at Cedarbrooke has a contract with Cox Communications to offer a special incentive to residents only at Village Park at Communities. Ask
a leasing professional for details. We can sign you up so that you can take advantage of these terrific specials.
Trash
Cedarbrooke gladly pays for your trash! Please put trash in dumpsters
conveniently located throughout the community. The collectors will not pick up anything outside of the dumpsters. Any person(s) that leave trash on the ground will be charged a
pick up fee of twenty-five dollars ($25) per item. Should you have any bulk items (couches, furniture, Christmas trees, etc) that need to be disposed of, please contact the
leasing center. Do not put these items in the trash dumpsters. The charge is twenty-five dollars ($25) per item.
Electricity Service
You should have contacted Westar prior to your move in date, as a Westar assigned confirmation number will need to be provided to us before move in. Should you have overlooked this very important step, please contact them at 383-8600.
Per your rental agreement, you are required to keep your electricity on-without lapse-until your rental agreement
is over.
Water
As part of our dedication to you, we make sure that our water program is
easy for our residents. You don’t need to contact the water department. If you are in a one bedroom, water is just $18 a month with an additional $4 per occupant. Two bedroom
residents pay only $20 a month with $4 per additional occupant. This should have been discussed prior to your move-in-however, please contact us if you have ANY questions.
Laundry
Village Park at Cedarbrooke has a laundry facility located in each
building on the garden level. Should you have any questions or problems with the machines you may either
call the Cedarbrooke office or Jetz, our laundry vendor, at 263-1037.
Parking
Do you hate removing snow and ice off of your vehicle? Our garages offer relief in all seasons for only $65 per month! Contact your leasing specialist for details.
Cedarbrooke has no assigned parking. Please avoid parking in the handicap
stalls. You may ONLY park there if you have a handicap placard. If you are in need of a handicap stall, please contact the office for more details. Vehicles that are
inoperable, appear to be abandoned, damaged, unlicensed may be tagged and/or towed at the owner’s expense.
Renter’s Insurance
Our insurance policy covers the structures only. Therefore, your belongings are not covered. Renter’s insurance is an affordable way to insure that your belongings can be recovered should a need
ever arise. Please contact your insurance agent for more details.
Neighborhood Watch
Get to know your neighbors! This is the best defense we have.
Courtesy Patrol
Please contact Signal 88 for noise complaints, neighbor complaints or
to report any suspicious activity. Their number is (316) 209-0436.
Rent Day
Rent is always due on the first of the month-even if the first falls on a holiday and the office is closed. Rent not received by 8:30 am on the 6th
will be charged a $50 late fee. For each additional day the rent goes unpaid an additional $5 fee will be charged to the account. The late fees will continue to accrue until the rental amount is paid in full.
Pets
Village Park at Cedarbrooke is proud to be a pet friendly
community. With no pet weight limit, we allow pets BIG or small! A $200 one-time fee (non-refundable) gets you started and only $20 pet rent per month will allow you to
keep your dog in compliance with our regulations. We have pet stations located throughout our community for your convenience. Contact our leasing specialists for more
information. Breed restrictions do apply.
